Trend Alert: Snakeskin
Snake skin is all the rage this season. Luckily most of us have a print or two in our closets already! Much like leopard prints, we’re seeing snakeskin all over runways and collections in both subtle tones as well as a variety of bold hues. There’s definitely something for every personality ranging from conservative to more playful looks. Here’s a few of my picks to get you started. Some of you may want to test the waters with a smaller accessory while others will dive right in with a bolder statement...perhaps a dress or thigh high boots!
One thing is for sure, prints pair really well with classic pieces. You can never go wrong with a classic white tee or tailored button down. When I’m styling clients I always pull staples to balance a look! For instance, leather moto and denim jackets are perfect finishing touches added to a printed dress, skirt, or pants. While adding a blazer or faux fur instead will completely redefine the look. Instantly update your favorite denim cut offs, jeans, and leather leggings this season with a splash of snakeskin.
